David is a born-and-raised Saskatchewanian who grew up on a grain farm near Wynyard. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1990, earned his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1993, and became a partner at Prairie Strong (formerly Skilnick & Partners) in 1996.

Gary was born and raised in Melville, graduating from Melville Comprehensive School in 1986. He obtained his Bachelor of Administration from the University of Regina in 1991 and earned his Chartered Accounting (CA) designation in 1993. Gary returned to Melville to work with Prairie Strong (formerly Skilnick and Partners) in January 2001 and became a Partner in August 2002. He is the Senior Audit Partner with the firm and provides corporate and personal tax services and consulting services to business or personal clients.
